die for 8h daily or die for good
sleep is probably the biggest ROI thing you can get good at
but like if you don't it's pretty simple, if you don't sleep - you die
or you half ass sleep and just wish you were dead
when i was around 12, i started having problems with sleeping and naturally i started having problems in everything i tried to do in my waking life
and all of that of course compounded - i got addicted to games and youtube videos and that again made me sleep even less
and then anxiety - then of course smoking - then of course more anxiety and i never thought i could do anything about it
until i realized that it's completely normal that i lie in bed all they when i have 0 energy all day - like completely makes sense
after years of trial and error these are the things that helped me:
- afternoon naps (eyes closed, you don't have to sleep just lay there for 20 min but no longer)
- meditation and journaling - all problems have a cause, it's pretty much never the case that you are just a mistake
- find the shit that excites you and do that, just leave the shit that drains you behind at all costs
